We used Eastside to fix my husband car after a minor accident. They were such a pleasure to work with. They had great communication on where we were in the process, handled everything with our auto insurance (State Farm) and did a fabulous job fixing his car. Would recommend them to everyone!
Had a small accident and they were able to get my car in quick and get it fixed to better than it was before. They went out of their way to make this a great experience and even fixed the minor issues that came up after the repair promptly.
Great experience all around! Everything was done quickly and effectively. I was kept informed with what was going on with my car and within a couple of days, it was ready. Everyone was nice and extremely professional. I would definitely recommend this shop and I will be coming back for any future work I may need.

I called in on a Friday and they saw me same day for an estimate, They were able to see my vehicle that next week and complete Services the same day. Went in for an estimate. The estimate was done quickly and efficiently with practically no wait time. Very comfortable, friendly atmosphere with highly knowledgeable people.
These guys got me in immediately, fixed my sliding door in the minivan which was a constant safety hazard to my child in 10 minutes(!) in an unbeatable price. The young man who worked on my car also refused a tip for a well done job.

Meet Lonnie Morse Sr.
Founder, since 2001
Lonnie Morse Sr. opened Eastside Collision in 2001, out on Highway 190 East between Hammond and Robert. Twenty-five years later he's still here, and there's a good chance he's the one who says hello when you walk in.
Most of the shop's work comes from people who already know Lonnie: past customers, their families and their neighbors. That only happens one way, by treating people right for a long time.

Do I have to use the body shop my insurance company picks?
No. Under Louisiana law your insurance company can't require you to use a particular shop, and if they recommend one they have to tell you you're not obligated to use it. You can bring your car to Eastside.
What photos should I take for an estimate?
All four corners of the car, then the damage up close and from a few steps back. That's the same set most insurance companies ask for, so you can send them the same photos.
Is the photo estimate my final price?
It's a starting point. Some damage, like a bent bracket behind a bumper, only shows up once the car is here and we take it apart. If we find more, we'll tell you what we found and what it means for the price.
Can I get an estimate without coming in?
Yes. Start a photo estimate, take the shots we ask for, and send it from your phone. If we need to see the car in person, we'll tell you.
Will you deal with my insurance company?
Yes. Bring your claim number and we'll work with the adjuster on the repair and keep you posted along the way.
How long will my repair take?
It depends on the damage and on parts. We'll give you a time frame before we start and let you know if anything changes.
Do you work on trucks?
Yes. Cars, pickups, SUVs and vans, and we've done semi trucks too.
Can I pay for a small repair myself?
Yes. Plenty of scuffs, scratches and small dents never go through insurance. Send photos and we'll give you a cash price.
Do you do custom paint?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind and send a few photos of the vehicle, and we'll talk it through with you.
